Returns Hello new family! Thank you so much for your patronage and smiling faces. As much as we do our best to prevent any issues from arising with your items, it is always good to know what your options are should the rare event occur that you would like to request a refund. Your happiness is very important to us and our swift attention to the matter is paramount to a happy and prosperous relationship. We believe you will find the policy quite direct and simple.
We do allow returns within 14 days of the receipt of your purchase if an item is determined by MakersFolly® to be faulty or damaged, only. If an item is found to be faulty or damaged we will either issue a refund (contingent upon inspection findings) or allow you to exchange your item for another. If we do not hear from you about which option you prefer will move forward with issuing a refund of the purchase price (see more about this below).* Please note, you will be responsible for any balance that exceeds the original purchase price.
To initiate your return please email a scanned receipt or proof of purchase. Also, to make your refund more likely, please include photos of damage to your items so we can assess the items effectively. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. In order to begin the return process as efficiently as possible, please email us to let us know you are requesting a refund before the 14 days elapses. We also need proof of purchase, such as a receipt. You can attach it to the email you send to us. Include in the email why you are returning the item so we can begin the approval process. If you can, it helps to take pictures of the items where they are faulty or damaged.
Faulty means: Does not function as expected due to damage. For example...a watch that does not work even when battery is changed. Inspection For quality assurance every item is inspected before it is shipped to prevent the hassle of returning items. It is not acceptable to us to have an item arrive to you in poor condition. That said, there is always the rare possibility that an item may occasionally arrive damaged in transit and for that situation we have you covered.
There is tracking for your items so if your item fails to arrive we will know exactly where it ended up and respond to this situation swiftly and effectively. You are in good hands. *There are certain situations where only partial or no refunds are granted (if applicable) - Items that have been purposefully damaged or lost - Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error - Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received by us and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Late or missing refunds (if applicable) If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at email@example.com.
Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. Exchanges (if applicable) We only replace items if they are faulty or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org explaining your request along with your proof of damage (photos) and proof of purchase (receipt). If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
To return your product, you should mail your product to: MakersFolly®, 256 Littletown Quarter, Williamsburg VA 23185, United States You will NOT be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Email us asap and we will pay for return postage by sending you an email with a new shipping label enclosed.
*Shipping costs are non-refundable(original purchase) because we pay for your shipping costs.
If you send your items to the wrong address and not to us, unfortunately, we will not issue a refund. This is to compensate for a Loss of Stock, so please check your return address carefully. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary, especially during the holiday season. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
